In the 1800s you would see a young lad walking by.
You are way too scared to walk next to him, or even say hi!
He stole a young piglet and a dark, black horse too.
He has killed 5 poor people be very careful he might even get you!
Some say he’s a sneaky thief, evil villain, or a great hero.
He’s been shot by an old, Welby bull dog, not a poisoned arrow.
He has saved a rich, young boy from drowning in a mucky lake.
He was earned a bright, green sash that he will now take.
The young lad has been to jail way too many times.
The brave police haven’t solved all his terrible crimes.
The police say it’s time to hang the poor lad now, but
some people still ask why, and how?
