There is beauty in the lost ones
Who have quizzically abandoned me
Their eyes tired with trepidation
But their sorrow is lost to me
I turn a blind eye 
On their troubles and their pain
They treated me so horribly
Now I shall do the same 
In sickness and in health
You promised me your heart
To love me for eternity 
Never to be apart
Now you've gone and found another
Our lives we must restart
I do not understand 
How to heal my broken heart 
So on the ladder tall I stand
I step with all my might
To find a world 
Where love confessed isn't taken light
