Recently I thought, yes me
That things had passed a tolerable degree
Metaphorically clear the world’s desktop
And hopefully make bad things stop
Because currently the speed we’re racing;
Straight at dark times, we’re facing
Shooting and killing and simply destroying
Bombs, out of planes are deploying
We need a plan, to make something change
And it will be hard, it may be strange
But so far we aren’t doing all that much
To get us out of the devil’s clutch
I pray for peace and hope and love
And to give us all a little shove
Into the arms of kindness and care
May we all find happiness there
