I befriend the grim reaper with open arms,
And with our hands bound,
What was once a body dissolves,
And into a cold eternal abyss of death it plummets.
But in that moment I was never more warm,
For I had the cure to permeate affliction,
The solution to a demon's summoning.
Now unhinged and free,
I had not only escaped the monsters under my bed,
But I had joined them.
