A Giant's Game

The world is on your shoulders,
Every step is a step closer,
To life.
To light.
You pick up the still silver die, it is time to make your move.
Time freezes as the die falls,
Beckoning you to follow.
Whatever happens the world will suffer,
With every mistake the world will fall,
The power in your hands is unbelievable, unimaginable.
But there is a consequence,
The consequence of losing the ones you hold most important,
The ones you love.
The gamble is unfair and unjust.
Whisperers speak your name,
They tell you to fall in the game’s trap,
For those who played,
Never returned.
