Lady

When I was sad, you would lift me back up,
When I was confused, you would guide me in the direction,
You were always there for me in my dark moments,
Your dark brown fur was so soft when I ran my fingers in it,
Your tail wagged every time I came home from school,
During dinner, you’d always sit on my feet as if to warm them up like you’ve warmed my heart,
The name ‘Windy Jane’ was given to you because of how much you toot,
No more can you do these things,
For a terrible accident, had happened,
Now you watch over me within the clouds,
Your passing has hurt me greatly,
Tears flowed from my eyes like waterfalls,
My dreams filled with our fun times together,
But when my time comes we will be together once more,
Nothing shall come between us,
For we are forever friends.
