On a dark and dreary day,
a sunlight ray
comes shining through
as you probably knew.
On a dark and dreary day,
in May
a light filled toy
is filled with joy.
On a dark and dreary day,
when you don’t obey
the rules of glumness
it fills your heart with happiness.
On a dark and dreary day,
cheerfulness comes into play.
It puts sparkles in your eyes
and it helps you fly.
