Far out to Sea where mermaids swim and dolphins dive
Where turtles float and divers watch the coral thrive
Where fish dart and seaweed sways
Where the ocean is warmed by the sun’s golden rays
Far out to sea where no one goes a little turtle lives and no one knows
That every day the turtle longs to be on land, on sand not in the sparkling sea
So she swims and swims for miles and miles
Watching the clouds float by like little white tiles
And soon she wades through soft, gold sand and waddles onto the wide, peaceful land
As turtle sits on the beach she thinks about where she’s been
And about all the amazing things that she’s seen
Then she thinks to herself no it’s not where you’ve been
It’s not what you’ve done and it’s not what you’ve seen
But turtle knows now by the moon’s soft glow
That it’s why you did it and where you will go
