Tattered and torn.
A small brown box all soggy and worn.
Placed under a bench, so carelessly.
Inside, a pup with 2 bright eyes but legs? Only three.
An outcast pup, different to the rest.
But a heart so big, never the less.
All sad and miserable, day after day.
The rain eventually washed his box away.
His hope was drained. Why not give up?
Nobody could love an outcast pup.
Here's the twist, a boy stumbled along.
Grumpy and sad, all forlorn.
This boy was different don't you see?
Though 2 bright brown eyes, only one knee.
Casting his attention, down at the dirty pup.
He realised he was worthy of at least one souls love.
