Letter To The Old Me

To the old me,
If I could somehow send this to you,
There’s only a few things that I would say to you.
Number 1:Don’t change for anyone but you.
You and almost everyone around you will be changing to fit in,
Almost no one will be changing for their own good.
But life is too short to be what other want us to be.
You are incredible,
realise it. Own it.
Number 2:Don’t be scared to ask for help.
I know people expect a lot from you and it’s difficult,
but life will only get harder if you stay quiet.
There are people who love you and want to help.
Let them.
Now I’ve given you my advice, please don’t make the same mistakes I have.
I know life can be scary and demanding and loud,
But I also know that anything life throws at you,
You can handle. You can handle this.
