Hi I’m Charlie and today I’m going to talk to you about um’s. If you're wondering what ums are they’re the things that just slip out of your mouth before you say something.

For example.”Hi um today I'm going to um”. Now that kind of person is a big umer. In our class umming is an extremely big problem and some people can't seem to stop, it’s like a habit or even a virus. If my teacher asked you a question and you said um, he would cut you off in less than a second and move on to another person.

There are many different types of ums. There are the accidental ums. For example, “did you break that glass?”
“Um, maybe” and many more. Ums are bad examples of pronunciation.
