When I ran up the stage,
I didn't want to rage.
I saw my mum cheering,
And my brother’s not peering.
My mother was loud,
As loud as a supporting crowd.
My heart started to beat,
As hard as lamb meat.
As I received my award,
I was not bored.
I shook the Principal's hand,
That felt like red sand.
I saw some silly satisfying smiles,
That can be seen from miles and miles.
I was so happy,
Like an elated fluffy puppy.
