The First Fleet

The first fleet was a group of ships that came to Australia looking for new land. Captain Phillip was the responsible one because he was the captain of all the ships. The first fleet had the most people that died. They died because they didn't get treated and fed well enough. When the convicts got off the ship the aboriginal people didn't know who they were. They thought the convicts and British people were ghosts because they were white. They started to get along pretty well until more ships started to come and they were coming to the land. The aboriginal people were fighting and some aboriginal people got sick. Many aboriginal people moved away and the white people took over the land.
