Excellence Award in the 'Write Here Write Now 2017' competition

On a dim, cloudy day,
The sky rumbles grey,
As big despaired clouds,
Feel very led astray
They gather together in the stormy weather,
To release their feelings
Feelings that’ve pounded inside
Feelings they’ve been trying desperately hide,
As the tears dry out,
And the earth awakens again
Knowing it’s been nourished by the destructive rain
As nature cried out thanking the Lords thanking the heaven!
And flowers feel like they’re on cloud number seven!
The earth knows it’s safe.
Until another day.
Until another day when the clouds find anger again!
