the willow child
golden locks cascading
not sallow, just pale
like the northern girls, with blue eyes
the european beauty
soft and gentle
sways with the breeze
petite but firmly grounded
roots spread in the earth
sits beside the stream
veins flow true
sometimes,
tears fall like the leaves
weeping willow
find me where i lay
