Misleading Simplicity

Our love is amaranthine; immortal, undying.
Your eyes sparkled with celadon green; mischievous, curious.
Your pale eburnean skin cold to the touch; uneasy, shivering.
Vermilion tinted cheeks smiled; warm, nervous.
Fingertips grazed sarcoline skin; eyes enchanted, lingering.
Cinnabar lips met madder ones; overexcited, anxious.
Heliotrope eyes united with russet ones before closing; joyful, relaxed.
You felt like a saffron sunset; inviting, alluring.
Although, your complexion wasn't perfect for me; it turned ablicant, unappealing.
Your once bright colours now dull; homely, ordinary.
Our love was amaranthine; immortal, undying.
Yet now it's a faded beige; finite severe.
Because of your misleading simplicity.
