Going off to war,
Getting pulled out the door.
Kicking and screaming;
Parents trying to stop you leaving.
Forced on the truck, yelling your last goodbyes;
Trying to stop the tears flowing from you eye
Driving away; further and further
Away from your father and mother.
Arriving at the battlefield;
Using the trenches as our shield.
Protecting our country; at the cost of your life.
Killing all the nature and wildlife.
Human vs. Human, what good does it do?
Expecting life to form from the residue.
