Battered and bruised, does she stand there confused.
Listening and waiting as she's left contemplating.
The whistles of the wind surrounding her skin,
The tears of her sins, now force her to swim.
The moon shines high, high up in the sky,
as darkness falls, does she will herself to cry.
Dropping to her knees, she bends with the breeze.
Her heart is wrecked, now her body lays wept.
As the tears leave her eyes, the moon starts to cry.
Crying for her daughter, does she stand,
together with nature, she feels one again.
As her heart cries out, the wind speaks up,
the wails of the wind reach towards her,
holding her, nurturing her, comforting her.
As the wind does its dance, does the old willow take its stance,
together as one, the wind and the willow,
only then will the willow have sung.
Mother Nature and her cries for her daughter.
