A Flame In Our Hearts

Once there was a time,
Where hope seemed non-existent,
Where flames swallowed screams.
All of us were trapped.
Very few of us escaped.
I was one of them.
I still remember,
And I went back to that place.
I saw their lives now.
Not much has changed since,
But I swear I will help them.
They won't go through this.
Even in those times,
Where hope seems gone, it is there.
A light in the dark.
A flame in our hearts.
