Meerkats

They stand up tall
But are very small
They look pretty high
Their eyes doze off in the bright blue sky

They all love mealworms
That’s where they pick up germs
And they all squeak
When they need to meet

What is that?
Is it a vicious bat?
Oh no danger
Warning it is a ranger

They have a short tail
And rummage around like they are trying to sort mail
They are meerkats
Of course they are soft to pat
