The horses get ready for the race
As soon as they enter the gates
Their ears prick up and they start to stir
They stomp around like headless chooks
The gates open their eyes widen
Hearts start to pound then they’re off
Like formula 1 race cars on race day
Down the track and round the bend
As the jockey gets on the horse
You can feel the connection they have
They both have th3e same idea
To win the race
When the gates open
There is a rush of adrenalin they’re off
There is no way of stopping them
Until the end of the race
