I loved it when you held me, more than anything
Just because, when you did,
I felt safe
Even if it's only for a little while
I felt like somebody actually cared,
Like somebody loved me,
When even I didn't
I loved when you held me so close,
That I could feel your heart beating
I loved it just because,
For some time, even for a little,
I forgot about all my problems,
And I actually felt... loved
But now times have changed
And every day I come home wishing
That when I had the chance, I stopped your heart from beating
