Love is a complicated thing you know
A whole new set of rules to learn and follow
With all these new feelings, a broken heart just healing, 
Take a chance, take a risk with a heart you’re stealing. 
Pain and agony are lover’s best friend 
Unsure what you want, the wrong message you’ll send. 
You see love is a game, deal out the cards 
You wanna play now do you? Single out the shards. 
 
Okay, spit it out, come out and confess, 
Love is a frustrating mental mess. 
You know that feeling, yeah I know it’s hard to explain
When you think you’ve fallen in love, but you’re trying to refrain.  
Love is a beautiful thing you know, you play your cards right,
Such a delight when the darkness turns into a beaming light
