That Damn Alarm Clock!
Beep! Beep!
Welcome to the struggles of my morning!
I press the ‘snooze’ button a million times,
Till I’ve most likely lost my hearing.
I sit on my bed,
Staring at the wall with my mind slowly dozing off,
Till my legs decide to walk to the bathroom.
Looking into the mirror with my hideous looks,
A shriek escapes my mouth!
I’m as ugly looking as Frankenstein
As tired as Sleepy the dwarf
I walk to the shower,
Shivering at the touch of freezing, ice, cold water,
Am I showering in Antarctica?!
I’m a polar bear walking through Antarctica,
I think of myself while showering.
I pick the first four items of clothing I found,
A magic hat, a skirt, a jumper and sunglasses
Oh well!
I dress up hearing the bus roaring through the street,
I’m late and I haven’t packed my bag!
I stuff all my books into my bag in a beat
Creating my extremely heavy bag!
This is definitely not my day!
School was pretty average,
Until Miss Connorgrey gave us a one day notice for our math test!
Ain’t that just spectacular!
I flick through my math book, a little too quickly,
I don’t think I understood anything in that book!
I lay in my bed with my favourite milk and cookies sheets,
Staring at the ceiling and my eyes close in an instance,
I think I dozed off for a little too long because guess what I woke up to!
Beep! Beep!
That damn alarm clock!
