Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Like the sea is salty,
Yellow reminds me of you.
You as in a friendly face,
An image or in real life,
You can't hide, you're always there,
Whether you like it or not.
I picture you, just standing there,
Waiting for something to happen.
Perhaps just staring at the stars,
Or birds flying over the trees.
An image I can't forget,
Always there, looking oh so fair.
The seasons whirl around,
But you my friend, shall always
be.
