The Tree has been life, the handle of a knife, which branches off, slowly, but surely, it works its way up, still young as a pup.
Pass the threshold of movement, left to right to left - development, to expressing itself through the leaves of action and exploration, now a pup with determination.
Through the physical barrier, now much more handier, thoughts of unicorns, food and future, steps of confidence, a pup with dominance.
On to philosophy, and the branch of numerology, advance of memory, logic and social life, independence and ready to grow, not quite a pup - still taken in tow.
Beginning to feel for others, germination occurs, self-conscious and primed for the world and challenges, a new vision arises, an adolescent that's full of surprises.
A sense of maturity, now with the security of reason and imagination independence and care, no longer a pawn but a king, an adult rearing and in full swing.
The final branches stop declining and ageing but still on top, each branch flourishes, the trunk does not, slowly but surely, it works its way up.
