A Day In The Life Of The Forest

Deep in the forest, where the grass grows green,

all the animals are nowhere to be seen.

But when night comes, and the sky goes black,

the animals gather around the oak tree, like no other.

It lies in the middle of the forest, where the water is crystal clear.

Oh how the squirrels squirmed, and how the otters splashed,

as the tree swayed roughly in the wind!

The animals are tired now, they sleep next to the oak tree;

the oak tree like no other.
