Look me directly in the eye,
Only if you dare,
Perhaps you do not want to,
Because of my vicious stare.
My hair was once beautiful,
But isn’t anymore,
I wish horrible Athena,
Hadn’t given me snakes galore.
I'm now isolated on an island,
Nothing much to see,
Except a few ugly statues,
And a hideous me.
Men still come to find me,
My death is what they seek,
Although compared to my power,
They are absolutely weak.
