Step outside, breathe in fresh air
Look at the trees, hear the birds cry
They’re driving cars without a care
Blind to the earth’s sigh.
Suicide rates are rising
Girls obsessing over the scales
Animals suffering, barely surviving
To our future generations, mere tales.
Nature and humans are one
But along the line it went askew
To undo the damage done
We must realise; we are one not two.
