Nelly is a dog who I love so much it's true,
Her fur is fluffy and warm she'd never catch the flu.
Her nose is always dirty from when she digs a hole,
When she comes inside it looks a lot like coal.
She always barks at nothing it's as if she wants to say,
That if I could speak dog language we'd talk night and day.
Her favourite thing to chew on would have to be a pigs ear,
When she'd finished it we'd give her a really big cheer.
She chews up my toys and bites off my socks, She runs round the house and looks like a fox.
Sometimes when I'm hungry I'd have a little snack,
Then Nelly runs in and jumps on my back.
When we came to Australia we gave her to Lorraine,
It was very hard for me and I had plenty of pain.
When I was still in England she had lots of fame,
It's hard for me but I still love her exactly the same.
