Laughing, talking,
Footprints in sand.
Walking together,
Hand in hand.

The warm glow of the sunset,
Orange, purple and pink.
Shadows being cast,
As we watch the sun sink.

The waves are like our love,
Different shades of blue.
They move around each other,
Just like lovers do.

The day has come to an end,
It's time we must go home.
Back to the harsh world,
Where I have Costochondral Syndrome.
