Until this frosty winter ends
And the spring comes again,
Until this frozen wonderland melts,
As it drips into the regenerating grass and sand.
When the enchanting frozen breeze is no longer present,
When the crystal snow no longer shines from the reflection of the dim sun,
And the frosty breezes filtered through the pines off high mountains are gone and done.
When the snow white Mount Cook Lilies finally bloom,
When the gloomy and obscure mornings are replaced
With a perfect balance of warmth and coldness,
Accompanied by the scent of sweet nectar paste.
Until this frosty winter ends
And the spring comes again,
I’ll be waiting for you.
