As the sun set the clouds turned as pink as roses
Everyone had sleepy poses
The moon began to rise up
Everyone drank from their milk cup
The stars appeared from the sky
When the sun slept so did you and I
The glistering stars glimmered on the sea
The moon shone on you and me
As the moon sank down
The king was ready for work and wore his crown
As the sun rose
Tiny bits of dust sprinkled on your nose
When everyone was awake
The mothers started to bake
The world woke up for some fun
That’s the cycle of the moon and sun
