Daylight savings bends the day but who’s to say it should stay.
Where did it come from, where does it go, how did it get here and when will it go?
Does it come in the mail, does it come from a plane, does it come in a parcel or does it come in a sleigh?
It plays with the hours and changes the clock. Varying the daylight and adjusting my watch.
Who robbed my morning, who stretched my noon? Why did they do it? Was it you?
No one has the right to confuse us all. So change back the clock, return my morning sunlight and make our day restored.
