Once Cursed

There once was a curse in these lands
And no one took a stand
When all went black
To which no one could attack

The nights were long
But we all stayed strong
Then finally, one day was clear
And with that fear
Gone forever
We then took a stand together

After that it never came back
And till this day the sky stays clear
With never a day black,
And the only thing that still held fear
Was the blackness that never came near
