The darkness surrounds me,
I can't see,
I don’t know where I am,
But I know where I want to be.
I can’t hear anything, but my fear,
It’s so loud, it echoes in here.
I don’t want to be here,
Stood in the dark,
I just want a little spark,
To get me where I need to be,
Away from the darkness, and to swim in the sea.
I tried to run, but I get enclosed,
In something I've feared for a long time I suppose,
Standing in the darkness,
Nowhere to go,
I just stand in a place I don’t call home.
