Barry The Ant

Hi, I’m Barry the ant. I’m a boring old ant, but I’m not a boring ant when people try to step on me. And when people do try and step on me, I RETALIATE!
I was out hunting for food. There was a girl named Lilly and she was a big bully. I snuck up to Lilly on the picnic blanket. I stole some bread and went home.
I said, “Here you go,” to my crew, and shared the bread.
Then I heard SCREAMING. Lilly was stepping on my friends, so I went and bit her. So her family started stepping on us, and hurt us.
There are only 20 of us ants now. So we are never going there again. We are friends with the bull ants, they have 15 ants, so there are now 35 of us all together. Just in case Lilly comes back, now we have back up.
We then went to a new house. It is a nice house, so we stay here from now on. We live near the beach and we swim there every afternoon.
