Farewell Fellow Men

Brave young men who fought,
Never returned to their weeping mothers.
They will never be sought,
They will never live another.

The life there was treacherous,
They all said good bye.
They offered their lives, so generous,
But who actually wanted to die?

The answer is no one,
They were all a gem.
Their life can’t be redone,
We all must pay our respect to them.

Farewell fellow men.
