Sally The Mouse

Sally the mouse is cute,
Even though she is mute,
How fun she can be,
Perched on my knee,
Doing tricks for all to see!
I love Sally, and Sally loves me,
Wouldn’t you agree?
Soft grey and small,
She’s not very tall,
Scampering down the hall,
Chasing a ball.
So soft, so soft!
Her fur’s like silk,
Smelling of buttermilk,
(Because I wash her everyday,
She smells like this from June to May!)
