Once upon a time, I was a living thing,
All would hail me, fear me, claim they love me, for I was more than any old ring an’ pieces of string,
I was their king,
I was their upswing, their right-hand-wing, their everything, or so, they would say,
I don’t know who I really was,
Dark days came by, what would you say if their king sway? If you knew he was weaker than hay?
What would you say normal person? Wouldn’t you go insane if you knew?
Their king bought on their doomsday.
I, their king was hopeless, I beg you please don’t go insane,
I was the one who laughed at the slaughterings of innocence,
The days of my sinfulness, I still remember as though yesterday,
I was gay and greying,
In my late days, I was foreseen to die soon, told to try remorse but nothing, nothing, got in the way of my unforgivable ways.
Here I am, I am evil, the one thing that will tempt you to choose wrong, do wrong, be wrong,
All I said was me except when I was begging or saying I was hopeless,
I still laugh at the shedding of innocent blood,
I am the evil, vengeful, temptation and, I live today.
