A poem about Zoobs is a hard thing to write
for it is a fact that Zoobs only come out at night
whether there're prowling or growling or chasing your cat
even if you try to stop them they'll come away fat
If they're slothering or glothering or scratching ticks
Remember to go out armed 'cause they're hardened to kicks
Zoobs are fabulous amazing things
With no judging or grudging or untimely flings
They do what they like and say what they think
Although their democracy may have a bit of a kink
They're still quite civil and organised too
They keep it this way by keeping away from things like tetanus and bird flu
With no Internet or TV with which to have fun
They settle thos ny keeping young children on the run
Their hobbies also include debating and filtrating
And other things won't mention for needs of a rating
Although quarrels among tribe members can get quite vicious
They get back together for reason that some would describe as supersticious
Zoobs each keep a journal in which they write
Things of hapiness and things of spite
But the strange thing is human do too
They record their feelings in a book...Do you?
I wouldn't be surprised if they had a currency too
With a fluke in evolution they could pay to see you in a zoo
