Scary things in the night,
bump, bump - what's that sound?
I hear a creak. I hear a gurgle.
My heart beats faster by the minute.
Legs won't move.
I'm sweating out an ocean.
I'm shaking in my PJ's.
It might be a ghost?
What's that flapping noise?
Is it a bat? Is it a vampire?
What's that clumping sound?
Is it my mummy or (gasping) an Egyptian Mummy?
What's that I hear under my bed?
Is it my dog?
No - I don't have a dog!
I pull up the covers and hope it's just a bad dream!
