Deep in the dark valley
Sunlight hits the trees
The leaves flit and flutter and go where they please
Deep in the dark valley
Wallabies race by
And the brown snakes find a sunny place to lie
As I walk through the dark valley
The waterfall gushes down
The turtles swim and splash but never do they drown
At night time in the valley
Bats fly to food
And crickets buzz and hum and liven up the mood
In the heart of the valley, where the grand source lies
Hear the crash of trees and the heartbroken cries
Soon this valley may change forever
The last thing left… a tiny blue feather
