The water is freezing, The air is brisk.
The wind is sharp, My love one I miss.

The Ice Breaker is stuck, In the sheet of ice,
Frozen overnight, As quiet as mice.

No ship to sail; But captain to steer,
The food is scarce, The conditions are severe

The Human Ice Breaker, Isn’t stuck though,
He leads his men, through storms and snow

My Ice Breaker, Shackleton was his name,
My Hero, No one will ever be the same
