Excellence Award in the 'Write Along 2018' competition

The perfect green land sits there,
Getting crashed on by the sparkly blue ocean,
While the big round planet rotates slowly.
It's like there's a big round face looking into the dark galaxy,
There's the breathtaking colours mixed together like a rainbow.
The glamorous snow beams at you from north and south,
The clouds are lurking above the hard ground,
Like alien spaceships getting ready to attack.
The stars surround the planet like an army.
The sun glares at the people,
Then the moon waits its turn to come out,
What a beautiful planet we have,
Earth.
