Bare branches hanging dead as logs
The lakes are unseen and layered with fog
White light that breaks the horizon at dawn
With grey and blue skies following like fawn
Littered brown leaves, autumn's embers deceased
A faded picture painted, cold colours each piece
Life waits for the warmth to come again
With the now frozen soon melted spring-filled rain
When Autumn has past and Winter is done
Drive out the clouds, draw in the Sun
Rouse the creatures, from their past slumber
To witness warm colours and nature's, spring number
Green from white, blue from grey
This spring season, as magical as fae
