Camping In The Snow

In winter when the cold wind blows
I love to take a hike
To the mountain peaks, all white with snow
And camp there for a night.
I wake up early in the morning
For breakfast I eat snow!
Outside I hear the wombats snoring
I grab my skis and go!
Down the gentle slopes I slide
Happily on my skis
The wombats find a place to hide
I’m so warm in my fleece
All too soon it’s time to go
I take off my skiing gear
But I’m not worried because I know
I’ll be back again next year!
