Tonight is cold as can be,
The coldest night in history.
I’m all alone in a careless world,
Just a simple, homeless girl.
Tears will fall to the ground,
Some people pass by without a sound.
I remember warmth and love,
After the fire my family are my guardian angels, in the world up above.
I remember birthday’s and Christmas Eve,
I’m so sad they had to leave.
I remember our quaint little house by the sea,
I remember our garden, the butterflies and bees.
I remember Mum, I remember Dad,
I remember the siblings I once had.
I’m just alone here in the wild,
I need help - I’m just a child.
