Happy Fish

Once among the silvery reed
A fish hungry, did feed
Down the stream come striking boats
Which dropped some tasty oats
He spots a fearful grey
Soon he’ll be its wretched prey
He gives a deafening scream
Then he quickly swims up the stream
Now he swims with joyful glee
For he is finally free
He swims to his brother and sister
They trade happy laughter
He swims with joyful glee
For he is finally free
