Mournful cries as families search
Bodies stench like rotting scraps
All hope and joy has disappeared
A repeat of this day is feared
Debris spread across the land
Buildings buried beneath the sand
People dragged out to sea
Like a cloth in a washing machine
This tragedy drilled in our minds
The earth still mourns
As it will never be the same again
